Actually, the temperature is not extremely high.  But the humidity...  Oh, it is misery.  Walking outside is like walking into a steam room.  I went to check the mail and get the newspaper and I swear I felt like I needed a shower.  It's WRETCHED!  Completely wretched, I say.  Bah.

It's sprinkling again.  That's the second time today that it's rained here - must be Miss'ippi monsoon season, eh?  Ha.  I went out to the grocery earlier today, just before the rain started.  It was BEAUTIFUL.  The whole world was covered in this gray blanket, and the green of the trees was a stark contrast to the dullness of the sky.  I love ( Read more... )
